Seniors and veterans are some of our most valued citizens. Under Marian’s leadership, the Board of Commissioners has focused on providing better services to those who have given back to and sacrificed so much for our community.

 

She has worked to provide our veterans with access to the services they deserve, including access to treatment for injuries and health problems that occurred during service. Marian has also helped ensure our county services have the resources they need to reduce the backlog of veterans requesting mental health programs.

 

A Record of Results:

• Marian and the Board approved a $225,000 grant to Phoenixville Area Senior Center.

• This past year, she approved $1.5 million in affordable housing toward Phoenixville Senior Housing.

• Marian helped launch Operation Green Light, a new initiative to support veterans.
